Ian Denson oversees the Worship and Creative Arts Ministries of Kokomo First Assembly. He has been involved in ministry for his entire life. Beginning in middle and high school, he led worship, directed choirs and bands (rhythm sections and orchestras), and was heavily involved in the planning and execution of multiple productions throughout the year that involved hundreds of students and faculty.
Ian attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where he pursued a degree in piano performance. While there, Ian continued to lead worship, directed the FGCU gospel choir, worked as the Creative Arts director for a Florida based non-profit organization, and both planned and led numerous concerts throughout the state of Florida. Comfortable as a composer and arranger as well as a performer, Ian has written music for middle and high school level ensembles up through the undergraduate level, ranging from Contemporary Christian and Gospel music through large orchestral works.
Following the call of the Lord, Ian moved to Kokomo in April of 2013 and is truly excited to be a part of what God is doing at Kokomo First Assembly and in this community.
