WORSHIP AS A LIFESTYLE
Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
At Kokomo First Assembly, we believe that worship is more than just the songs that you sing at church during the week. Worship is a state of consistent surrender to the Will of God, leaving ourselves open to be spoken to and used by the Holy Spirit so that our lives might be a reflection of Jesus Christ.
WHAT DOES OUR WORSHIP LOOK LIKE
Psalm 22:27 (NKJV) All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord’s, and He rules over the nations.
All people and families from here to the ends of the earth are welcome and accepted at Kokomo First Assembly. It is the desire of our church leadership and the Worship Ministry to create an environment where people from all backgrounds and ethnicities can worship together. Contemporary Christian Music makes up the backbone of our music, but Gospel music and Hymns are often integrated into our services to give a rounded out worship experience.
